UPEACE is pleased to announce the launching of its online educational programme with the opening of its first online course on "Contemporary Leadership, Cultures and Diversity".

This course is offered for academic credit of for training purposes. It focuses on concepts of diversity and culture, and how leadership approaches to peace building challenges are affected by these factors. The course will interest individuals from a broad range of disciplines and professions, especially those who wish to develop their leadership skills in multicultural environments.

This is the first element in an online UPEACE programme that will eventually offer a full executive MA degree. UPEACE's unique courses in Peace and Conflict, Environmental Studies, Gender and Peace building, Peace Education, Sustainable Economic Development and Human Security, among others, will be offered on-line.

The Contemporary Leadership course will enable individuals who cannot come to the UPEACE campus, to gain new qualifications and skills, and to begin the work for an Executive MA. For more information on the course you can visit www.upeace.org/online/courses.
