The right to water and water rights in a changing world

Last year, on 22 September 2010, a colloquium was held on “The right to water and water rights in a changing world” at the UNESCO-IHE Institute for Water Education in Delft, the Netherlands.
This colloquium took place in the framework of the 30th anniversary of the University for Peace (in Costa Rica) and the International Day of Peace, and was organised by the Alliance for UPEACE, the Netherlands National Committee IHP-HWRP, the Netherlands National Commission for UNESCO and the UNESCO-IHE Institute for Water Education, and was supported by the Co-operative Programme on Water and Climate (CPWC).
